TAAS Monthly Meeting

The February TAAS general meeting talk given by Barry Spletzer Saturday night at Regner Hall UNM campus was insightful, humorous and intellectually stimulating. Who would have thought that the AU unit of measurement would have such an interesting history?

Preceding Barry's presentation, Dave Pitonzo made the complex subject of the astronomical "lat/lon" equivalents, "dec/RA" so much more understandable for all of us. Dave returns at the April general meeting for another enlightened explanation.

The next TAAS meeting is March 27th. Details are forthcoming!
