Description: This is a Classic (non-GPS) LX200 which I purchased new in May 1999. I used it in the field in Altaz mode until I permanently mounted it in my own personal observatory in 2004. I had very good success taking deep-sky photographic and CCD images with this telescope. Since selling the observatory property in 2015 the scope has been stored indoors in a foam padded case and only occasionally set-up for casual visual observing. It is fully functional having been used within the past year. After two decades plus, I am no longer utilizing this scope sufficiently to justify keeping it. Accordingly, I am seeking a new home for this hardware where it will be put to better use. This LX200 plus the included accessories provide a complete package with everything needed for lunar, planetary and deep-sky visual observing on a polar-aligned GOTO mount.
