JEMEZ NATIONAL HISTORIC  SITE
SATURDAY, JULY 13 – 8:00-11:00 PM AND SUNDAY, JULY 14 – 10:00-12:00AM

TAAS and the Jemez Historic Site will co-host a stargazing opportunity at the Jemez Historic Site just past the town of Jemez Springs on July 13, featuring TAAS telescopes,  a Fab Fifty Spring Session on the targets of the season with James Carr and a constellation tour as skies darken.

The next morning, Sunday, July 14, from 10:00-12:00am on the same site, Tom Grzybowski, our Events Coordinator, will give a talk on the Sun, “Looking to the Skies”  with solar observing available.

If you plan to overnight in the area, camping sites are available through the recreation.gov national park system and nice B&Bs in the Jemez neighborhood.  This is a lovely place to explore, so think about attending and getting to know  Jemez Springs and beyond.
