OPEN SPACE VISITOR CENTER STAR PARTY
SATURDAY, MARCH 9 – 5:00-10:00PM
6500 COORS BOULEVARD NW
FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

TAAS returns to the Open Space Visitor Center for a night event for all ages, the day before Daylight Saving Time begins, allowing the observing to begin earlier.  The east patio will be ringed with TAAS telescopes and their member owners, eager to tell the visitors about all the targets for the evening–Jupiter and Uranus for the planets, and Orion, Pleiades and deep sky objects.  A presentation of the Fab Fifty Spring Session will be given at 6:30pm which will give a look at what is to be seen outside with the TAAS scopes, and, weather permitting, a green laser-guided constellation tour will take place during the observing time.

Please arrive before dark, no white lights in the observing area, dress for the weather and bring your enthusiasm and curiosity!

The OSVC staff and volunteers will provide their beautiful facility and various activities, as well as parking,  restrooms, water fountain and displays throughout the building.
