RIO GRANDE NATURE CENTER STATE PARK – STAR PARTY!
SATURDAY, MARCH 2 – 6:00-9:00PM
2901 CANDELARIA RD., NW
RGNC  PARKING FEE – $3.00/VEHICLE (EXACT CASH, PLEASE)

This will be TAAS’  first star party at RGNC in a very long time.  Earlier in February, we co-hosted a solar event at their location with good attendance and great support from the venue.  Now we will be showing the night objects of winter and early spring with a large array of TAAS telescopes,  and presenting the Fab Fifty Spring Session lecture in the Education Building at 6:00pm–this talk shows what you will see through the scopes. If skies allow, we will have a green-laser-guided constellation tour during the observing period.

RGNC provides parking,  restrooms, water fountains and a welcoming staff /volunteers for visitors.

Please arrive before dark and only red lights should be used in the observing area…dress appropriately for the weather and look forward to a very enjoyable evening.  This event is for all ages!
